Our Story and Mission
Founded to empower fashion lovers who care deeply about animals, Bald Cat Designs combines important mesages with vibrant, expressive apparel and decor. We believe style can be a statement of compassion and creativity, supporting animal welfare through every purchase.
A portion of every purchase our customers spend is donated to animal welfare charities.
We use Charity Navigator to select the best nonprofits - where donations go directly to assist the animals, have a proven record, and are needing our help.
Bald Cat Designs is a minority-owned, small business. We support small business. We also stand for our GLBTQ citizens. And we support honest, hard-working first responders who care about their community.
Meet Zoya
Zoya is the official mascot and the inspiration for Bald Cat Designs. She is a Sphinx cat; originally a Canadian breed, Sphinx cats have grown in popularity. Which also means, unfortunately, many of them land in rescues and shelters.
Zoya came to us from a household that did not understand the idiosyncrasies of the breed. She was malnourished, not well socialized, and had an untreated ear infection that had burst her eardrum. It took her a year to get healthy and trust us. Today, Zoya is healthy, happy, and loves her life!
